Groomers (groomers.kfardo.com and apps built on it) helps dog and cat grooming salons and mobile groomers take bookings and keep their client book. This page explains what we store, why, who else sees it, and how to delete it. Groomers is run by kfardo ("we").
What we store
Your account. Your name, email address, phone number if you add it, and your password (stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text).
Your salon. Its name, address, hours, services and prices, service areas for mobile grooming, team members, policies and consent text, photos you upload, and settings.
Pet owners, pets and bookings. What the salon and pet owners enter: owner names, phone numbers, email and street addresses, notes; for each pet its name, species, breed, size and weight, coat, birthday, behaviour and handling notes, health notes and allergies, vet name and phone, vaccine records and certificate photos, grooming notes, before/after photos and report cards; appointments, payments recorded, consent signatures, reviews and the texts sent.
Devices. If you turn on notifications, a push token for each device so we can send booking alerts. We don't collect your location or contacts.
The salon owns its client book. We use this data only to run Groomers for that salon: show the calendar, send the confirmations, reminders, pickup and report-card messages the salon turned on, and produce its reports. We don't sell data, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites. There are no third-party analytics.
Who else sees it
- Stripe, only if a salon connects its own Stripe account to take deposits: card payments go straight to Stripe and we never see card numbers.
- Our text-message providers (such as Plivo or Twilio), only when a salon turns on text messages: they receive the owner's phone number and the message to deliver it.
- Apple delivers push notifications to your devices.
- OVH hosts our servers in Germany, where the data is stored.
Each processes the data only to provide its service to us. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
Pet owners
If you booked with a salon that uses Groomers, the salon decides what is kept about you and your pets. You can see and update your pets' details and vaccine records from your own link (sent with your booking). Ask the salon to change or delete your details, or write to us and we'll pass it on. You can reply STOP to any text from Groomers to stop getting texts. Your links work without an account, so keep them to yourself.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings. Salons you own alone are deleted with it, including their owners, pets, bookings and photos. Salons you share with another owner keep going without you. Demo salons are deleted automatically after a day.
Security
Everything travels over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, payment keys are encrypted, and pet photos and certificates are only available to the salon's signed-in team and to the owner through their own link.
Children
Groomers is a tool for businesses and isn't directed at children.
